If you've been following along on my socials, you'll know that there are big changes happening at the moment. Drew and I have bought a house and have now been living together for two weeks. And it feels so good. We've spent two weeks unpacking everything, setting ourselves up and settling in to our home. There are still a few bits and pieces that need doing but we are nearly there. And I’ve finally started getting myself organised for this blog and business plans. I’ve planned out a load of content over the coming months for the blog and I have started nailing down some of the little details I’ve been delaying. But this post isn’t about that. I’d happily talk about that a heap but trust me there will be posts coming – for both the business and the house – so keep your eyes peeled!

One of the good things about finally being unpacked is I can access all of my jewellery and accessories that have been living in boxes for the past few months. These earrings were the last ones left on Shopbop earlier this year when I bought them to for my work Christmas party and I’ve only had the chance to wear them once. For someone who has never worn much gold I found myself really drawn to earrings that are gold or bronzed toned.

These tassels felt like such a fun piece and with the gorgeous weather we’ve had I just had to pair it back with a dress I also bought for my friend’s engagement party earlier this year. So, both of them come with really good memories and wearing them together felt even better. I’ve always been someone who holds onto the memories associated with all of my clothing this little pairing felt really good to wear. I don’t know just everything right now is so good this outfit really made me feel golden.

After a couple of frustrating months waiting for people to give us the go ahead feeling golden really is the best. But moments like this are always a good reminder that things turn around and the frustrating bits aren’t forever. I hope you are all having good weekends lovelies and that you too feel a little golden.
